DLC members advise the GPO Director on policy matters relating to the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) and access to U.S. Government information. GPO Makes Available New Statutes at Large Dating Back to 1789 04/16/24 The (GPO) has added historical volumes of the United States Statutes at Large (Statutes at Large) to GovInfo, the one-stop site for authentic, published information for all three branches of the Federal Government. GPO Director Presents FY2025 Appropriations Request to Congress 04/10/24 The (GPO) Director Hugh Nathanial Halpern presented GPO’s FY 2025 appropriations request before the U.S. House Subcommittee on Legislative Branch Appropriations. Director Halpern requested appropriations in the amount of $136,089,000, a 3.1 percent increase over GPO’s FY 2024 appropriation. Direct appropriations represent only about 10 percent of GPO’s total projected revenue for FY 2025 of $1.3 billion. GPO Deputy Director Becomes First Woman to Lead Bureau of Engraving and Printing 03/25/24 The (GPO) Deputy Director Patty Collins has been named the 27th Director of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) by U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet L. Yellen. Collins is the first woman to hold the position in BEP’s 162-year history. Collins leaves GPO after nearly four years serving as the Agency’s second-in-command. She led GPO’s Plant Operations, Security and Intelligent Documents, Official Journals of Government and Customer Services business units. President Biden’s FY2025 Budget Now Available on GOVINFO 03/11/24 Today, the (GPO) and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) published President Biden’s Fiscal Year 2025 Budget.
